New Production Plan

This is our new production plan as follows :-


Thursday 17th January
We will be recording all instruments in the music studio with the musicians playing them.

Tuesday 22nd January
We will be starting our recording of Chanele in the studio and start to edit the parts we want to involve in our music video.

and then the production plan will be back on the schedule and we have just delayed everything by a week due to illness of the Artist.

Recording Issues

Today was meant to be filming day and we have come across a few issues.

The issues was not preventable and it has delayed us because our singer(Chanele) has come down with laryngitis and this means she is unable to attend our recording session. This was our first big issue and we need to be able to prevent this in future.

Our second issue was when we decided to then record the guitarist and pianist, the studio was fully booked because of a change in days of when there are lessons going on. This now means that tuesdays are now unavailable to shoot.

Production Schedule - Week 1

Monday 14^th January 2013-

On Monday after break we are going to start filming our music video. During this time we are going to start filming the opening scene, which is in school. During these two hours we would like to complete all the shots that will be in the school.  We will have to use the school equipment as we are showing we are recording it in a studio.

Tuesday 15^th January 2013-

On Tuesday we would like to start editing the shots that we have developed. We would like to see how our shots work. During the 2 hours we are looking to complete the shots that we have recorded and would like to see if they work properly.

Wednesday 16^th January 2013

Thursday 17^th January 2013-

On Thursday we will be looking to go to one of our other locations, Depending on the weather we would like to go and shoot as many shots as we could during Thursday of the park scene and see how the scene works. We will not need to require many props, as we are not bringing many things in the park.

Friday 18^th January 2013-

On Friday depending on how many shots we have we will go and finish one of our shots that we need for that location. Once we have done this then we would like to start editing during last lesson and put things together. We wont need to take any props again.

Contacting TFL

We need to contact TFL to see if we can use Welling Station as a filming location.  We have emailed them to see if we will be allowed to film there, but it turns out we need to contact SouthEastern railway and ask for their permission. This is the biggest problem in our group because now we do not know if we will be able to shoot at a train station.

Journal 7

The last couple of weeks we have been organizing and doing last minute preparations for our music video. Our music video production schedule is coming along well and we are on time to start filming next week. We have realised that we can get the filming down ahead of schedule which will allow us to start editing quicker and have longer on that, as making a good music video will mean lots of cuts aswell as continuity. Our production plan has stated we will be recording on monday, tuesday and thursday and we will start editing on friday.

Locations Shots

These are our location shots that we have decided to take. This is Danson park and these are the areas of the park we will be using when recording our title sequence. We will be starting to record on Monday.We have chose these locations as they can be connotation for love and loneliness at the same time.  

We will be showing loneliness through Chanele and her being upset and down, and she will keep looking at couples in love and it will make her reminisce. We think this will be effective and make our video look effective as the emotions will be felt by the audience. We think this is also the perfect time of year to film it because the poor weather will bring the mood down. Winter is easy to portray love because of the couples all snug and cuddling up.

Journal 6

Recently we have started our preparation for our retake of the exam from AS. We have done a practice exam and been doing refresher classes, but in our group we have been focusing on our location and deciding when to shoot our first scenes.

We have decided we have to delay our filming for a while due to the poor weather conditions, as they are not suitable as we are filming outdoors a lot. We will be able to film the indoor sections though, so we will be doing that in the near future.
